The US India Importer’s Council recognizes the American World Trade Chamber of Commerce (AWTCC) as the premier issuer of certificates of origin and other ‘chamberized’ documents. When documents require chamber stamps, we recommend you push your suppliers to work with AWTCC.

AWTCC is the first US chamber to be accredited by the International Chamber of Commerce and join their formal CO Accreditation Chain. This means customs in India can easily verify the certificate of origin as genuine using the verification portal maintained by the International Chamber of Commerce. Each CO as a unique QR code for easy verification. 

Issuance of these COs is also done in a secure digital environment with an electronic end to end process. This means your supplier will be able to digitally provide you with the certificate of origin as soon as it is approved by the chamber. No need to wait for a courier envelope.
